Include how the vehicle earns its miles
A delivery round, occasional motorhome trip and long-distance work van have different use histories. Describe the normal journeys and load, alongside the warning. Journey pattern is context for diagnosis, not proof of a particular fault.
Record the earlier work
Send cleaning, regeneration or repair reports and whether the message returned. Include the engine, transmission, mileage and existing tuning. The workshop can plan the appropriate checks rather than repeating an assumed fix.
Allow the appointment to address the concern
A working vehicle’s recurring warning needs discussing before a performance booking is agreed. Ask what scope is proposed and which preparation instructions apply to the vehicle.
