Why DPFs block
A DPF can block because of short journeys, failed regenerations, poor sensor data, EGR faults, boost leaks, injector problems, oil ash build-up or a filter that is at the end of its life. The warning light is only the start of the diagnosis.
What we check
We look at soot loading, differential pressure, temperature sensor readings, regeneration history, fault codes and related engine data. That helps separate a filter problem from a sensor, engine or driving-pattern issue.
Repair routes
Some vehicles need a forced regeneration, sensor repair, EGR repair, boost leak repair, injector work, DPF cleaning or DPF replacement. For road vehicles, legal repair and correct operation come first.
