Explain where the vehicle needs to feel different
Is the concern pulling away with tools, climbing with a trailer or everyday response? Describe normal journeys and the load before asking for a power target. That puts the requested calibration in the context of the vehicle’s job.
Include the transmission and condition
The engine and gearbox form one working combination. Send the transmission details, servicing and any clutch or shift concerns. Supported gearbox calibration can be discussed where appropriate, but software is not a substitute for investigating a current fault.
Standard and modified vehicles
A standard vehicle normally starts with a Stage 1 discussion. Hardware changes need a complete parts list and a different calibration brief. Explain which parts are fitted and any earlier engine or gearbox tuning.
Set realistic priorities
Fuel use varies with load, route and driving. We do not apply another owner’s percentage saving as a promise for your vehicle. Similarly, a remap does not raise towing or plated weight limits.
